Team CJ – SXSWi 2010 Panel – Promotional Video
This is a video that I put together to promote a panel idea we submitted for SXSWi 2010. I worked with fellow In-This-Economy co-founders, Derek Rundgren and Rachel Pinn, to produce this piece.
Once our idea made it into the panel picker, we decided that we couldn’t just let the idea work by itself -- we needed a tangible vehicle to promote it. This is what we came up with.
Our panel idea was called ‘Citizen Journalism Brigade -- Making Your Voice Matter‘, so we simply wanted to tease this main idea and gain some interest. Needless to say, our idea was picked and the rest is history. And I truly believe that this new media video campaign had a lot to do with the win.
The panel was a huge success with awesome attendance and crazy dialogue. We hope to be at SXSWi 2011 to do it all over again -- this time even bigger.
